When equipped with 5th generation Intel® Xeon® scalable processors, the memory speed can reach up to 5600 MT/s; with 4th generation Intel® Xeon® scalable processors, it can reach up to 4800 MT/s. The maximum RDIMM memory can be 4 TB.

Storage
Drive Bays:
Front tray can have up to 8 2.5-inch SAS/SATA/NVMe drives with a maximum capacity of 122.88 TB, or up to 16 E3.S NVMe direct drives with a maximum capacity of 122.88 TB. Note that the XE9680 - Gaudi3 configuration only supports 8 2.5-inch NVMe SSD drives.
Internal Controller: PERC H965i (not supported in the Intel Gaudi3 configuration).
Power Supply: Six redundant AC or DC power units. It can be 2800 W titanium-level 200 - 240 VAC or 240 VDC redundant.
Cooling Fans: There are six high-performance cooling fans in the middle tray and up to ten high-performance cooling fans at the back of the system (Intel Gaudi3 supports up to 12 back fans), all of which are hot-swappable.
Management
It is equipped with an embedded/server-level iDRAC9. The Dell OpenManage systems management portfolio provides a secure, efficient, and comprehensive solution for PowerEdge servers, enabling simplified, automated, and centralized one-to-many management through the OpenManage Enterprise console and iDRAC.
