PowerVault ME5 storage uses Intel Xeon processor to achieve dual active controller architecture, 12 GB/ s read and 10 GB/ s write throughput, and fast capacity expansion using 12 Gb SAS back-end protocol;
The non-high-density ME5 basic arrays start at 2U and the high-density ME5 array starts at 5U;
Basic models all support dual active controllers, each including 16 GB of memory;
Optional ME5 expansion storage module, up to 336 drives or 8 PB.
